Medicare Rebates
A current medicare card is required to receive medicare-subsidised services.
A referral is required to receive a rebate for most non-GP specialist services. It is your responsibility to ensure your referral is current at the time of your appointment. Dr Danae Kent is able to see both referred and non-referred patients.
Payment is expected in full on the day of consultation and can be made by credit/debit card or bank transfer. Once payment is received, we can submit the medicare claim on your behalf, and funds should be received in your nominated account within 24-48 hours.
Telehealth consultations for new patients require a $250 deposit at the time of appointment confirmation. This is refundable if you cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 2 business days prior.
